Our Services

Electrical Services

Most electricians quote one number and charge another. At ACE, the estimate you get is the job you're billed for.

Ryan Myers started ACE in 2010 and still shows up on service calls himself, including here in Oak Grove. Every tech on his crew runs the same way: explain what's actually needed, do the work, clean up completely. No upselling. No surprise line items. Whether it's a panel upgrade, an EV charger installation, or tracking down a breaker that keeps tripping, ACE brings a full range of electrical services backed by real commercial-project experience to every Oak Grove job, which means they've already solved the complicated stuff before they get to your house.

You get a straight answer on price before anyone touches a wire, and you deal with the same company from the first call to the final inspection.

Lighting Installation

Homeowners often think of lighting as an afterthought until the fixture they bought online doesn't fit the box behind the wall. ACE handles that part too, right alongside the electrical work.

From recessed lighting in older homes near downtown Broadway to fresh installs out in Oak Grove's newer subdivisions, the same crew that's been running electrical calls in Oak Grove since 2010 also handles the full range of lighting installation work: ceiling fans, landscape lighting, outdoor and security fixtures, interior accent lighting. Nothing gets subcontracted out, and nothing gets left half-wired behind a wall plate.

You get one company, one crew, and one straight answer on price, whether you're rewiring a panel or just adding a fan to the back porch.

Commercial & Industrial Services

Oak Grove sits right along I-70 between Grain Valley and Odessa, and its Broadway Street commercial corridor has different electrical needs than the newer subdivisions further out. Small storefronts, tenant improvements, retail spaces changing hands, property managers juggling multiple units, that work calls for a different kind of reliability than a standard house call.

ACE brings real commercial-project experience to that side of the work, the kind you don't get from a crew that's only ever wired houses. Licensed, insured, and used to coordinating around a business's hours instead of shutting one down mid-day. Whether it's a storefront near downtown Oak Grove or a growing space elsewhere in town that needs updated wiring to pass inspection, commercial electrical services are handled with the same no-upselling, straight-pricing approach as everything else ACE does in Oak Grove.

Oak Grove's Rich History

Your town has had a post office since 1840, though it went by a different name back then: Lickskillet. The town wasn't formally platted until 1878, when it took the name Oak Grove after a stand of oak trees near the original site, and by 1880 it had grown into a proper stop on the Chicago and Alton Railroad with a school, a church, a hotel, and a handful of stores. Oak Grove has weathered its share of hard days since, including an EF3 tornado in March 2017 that damaged hundreds of homes and businesses, and the town rebuilt without losing a single life.

Neighborhoods and Streets

A few areas anchor how Oak Grove is laid out today.

  • Downtown Oak Grove along Broadway Street, home to the town's original commercial core
  • The newer subdivisions on the south side of town, part of more than 20 residential developments built in recent decades
  • Buckner Tarsney Road, a rural corridor connecting Oak Grove south toward Grain Valley
  • The area around Oak Ridge Drive, a well-established residential pocket close to downtown

Community and Lifestyle

Life here still carries the small-town feel the name Lickskillet suggests, even as the town keeps growing past 8,000 residents. Oak Grove R-6 Schools anchor the community, and with more than 10 churches and a genuinely low crime rate, it's the kind of place families move to and stay. Every September, the town throws Lickskillet Community Days, a nod to Oak Grove's original name and a weekend the whole community turns out for.
