Our Services

Electrical Services

Most electricians quote one number and charge another. At ACE, the estimate you get is the job you're billed for.

Ryan Myers started ACE in 2010 and still shows up on service calls himself, including here in Lee's Summit. Every tech on his crew runs the same way: explain what's actually needed, do the work, clean up completely. No upselling. No surprise line items. Whether it's a panel upgrade, an EV charger installation, or tracking down a breaker that keeps tripping, ACE brings a full range of electrical services backed by real commercial-project experience to every Lee's Summit job, which means they've already solved the complicated stuff before they get to your house.

You get a straight answer on price before anyone touches a wire, and you deal with the same company from the first call to the final inspection.

Lighting Installation

Homeowners often think of lighting as an afterthought until the fixture they bought online doesn't fit the box behind the wall. ACE handles that part too, right alongside the electrical work.

From recessed lighting in older homes near downtown to fresh installs out toward New Longview, the same crew that's been running electrical calls in Lee's Summit since 2010 also handles the full range of lighting installation work: ceiling fans, landscape lighting, outdoor and security fixtures, interior accent lighting. Nothing gets subcontracted out, and nothing gets left half-wired behind a wall plate.

You get one company, one crew, and one straight answer on price, whether you're rewiring a panel or just adding a fan to the back porch.

Commercial & Industrial Services

Lee's Summit isn't just a residential city, and the electrical needs around a historic downtown are different from the ones out near newer development. Older commercial buildings, tenant improvements, retail spaces changing hands, property managers juggling multiple units, that work calls for a different kind of reliability than a standard house call.

ACE brings real commercial-project experience to that side of the work, the kind you don't get from a crew that's only ever wired houses. Licensed, insured, and used to coordinating around a business's hours instead of shutting one down mid-day. Whether it's an older commercial building near downtown or a growing space elsewhere in Lee's Summit that needs updated wiring to pass inspection, commercial electrical services are handled with the same no-upselling, straight-pricing approach as everything else ACE does in Lee's Summit.

Lee's Summit's Rich History

Your town got its start in 1865 as the "Town of Strother," platted by William B. Howard along the newly built Missouri Pacific Railroad line just south of Kansas City. Three years later, in 1868, residents petitioned to rename it "Lee's Summit," honoring Dr. Pleasant John Graves Lea, an early settler killed nearby in 1862, and marking the town's spot as the highest point on the rail line between Kansas City and St. Louis. The original downtown burned in 1880, and what stands today was rebuilt by 1889, later earning national recognition as a Great American Main Street.

Neighborhoods and Streets

A few areas define how Lee's Summit has grown from a railroad depot into a full city.

  • Downtown Lee's Summit, also known as the Strother District, where the original 11-block plat still forms the historic core
  • New Longview, a walkable neighborhood built on the grounds of the historic Longview Farm estate
  • Lakewood, tucked near the lake it's named for on the city's north side
  • Chapel Ridge, a well-established neighborhood close to downtown

Community and Lifestyle

Life here runs on top-ranked schools, lake days, and a downtown that still feels like a small town even as the city has grown past 100,000 people. Lee's Summit R-7 Schools consistently rank among the best in the state, and residents make regular use of six area lakes, including Longview Lake and Lake Jacomo, for boating, fishing, and trails. Downtown comes alive every year for Downtown Days and Oktoberfest, and Summit Waves Aquatic Center is where most families end up on a hot summer afternoon.

Getting Around Lee's Summit
